19 officers graduate from Montgomery Police Academy

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The best of the best from Montgomery's police academy graduated Thursday - ready to serve and protect.

A special ceremony was held for 19 new officers at the city council auditorium.

Class members completed a 20-week training program.

The new officers will begin their first assignments in the Montgomery Police Department Patrol Division.
