MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Football is back at Cramton Bowl on Friday.

The Southeastern Commission of Independent Schools Kickoff Classic is back in Montgomery with two days full of games.

Autauga Academy, the AISA AA defending champions, face Valwood Academy out of Georgia Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

The Generals held a walkthrough at Cramton Bowl Thursday afternoon.

First year head coach Bobby Carr and Generals are ready for the challenge the SECIS Kickoff Classic brings.

"Our kids have been grinding all summer. We are ready to go. I know they are tired of beating on each other. Really proud of their efforts. We've gotten better and better leading up to this point. Hopefully we'll put on a good show and represent our association the right way," stated Carr.

"We're preparing just like we are playing for a state championship. It's a big game and we know that. We know there's going to be a lot of people here. No one else is playing. We are going to have public school teams here, private school teams that aren't playing this week, that get to see what we have," said junior quarterback Tripp Carr.

Autauga Academy is off on Aug. 18 and faces Tuscaloosa Academy at home on Aug. 25.
