RIGHT NOW: Phone bank to answer your scam, fraud questions

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The WSFA 12 News DEFENDERS have teamed up with AARP, local law enforcement, and Central Alabama Crimestoppers to help protect our viewers from scams.

TODAY, we're holding a phone bank so you can ask professionals your questions about possible scams or fraud you may be facing. 

We'll have professionals available from AARP, the Montgomery Police Department, the Montgomery County District Attorney's office, the Alabama Attorney General's office, the Alabama Securities Commission, and Central Alabama Crimestoppers who will provide you with information on what to do if you are a victim. 

The phone bank will run during our newscasts starting at 4 p.m. through 6:30 p.m.
