Black Friday 2017: A guide for your shopping needs

Black Friday will be here soon and it's time to start making your shopping map for all of the best deals.

Belk will be opening their doors on Thanksgiving at 4 p.m. They will stay open until 1 a.m. Friday and then reopen from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m.

As always, they will be giving away gift cards while supplies last with a million dollar giveaway Thursday and Friday. They say there will also be a $1,000 winner in every store.

Some of their deals include, Rampage boots on sale for $19.99, New Directions 5 piece luggage sets from $39.99 and kitchen electronics from $9.99- $14.99.

Best Buy opens at 5 p.m. on Thursday and closes at 1 a.m. They will reopen for Black Friday at 8 a.m. 

Some of their deals include, Samsung 65" Class LED Smart 4K Ultra HD TV for $749.99, Apple iPad mini 4 for $274.99 and Blu-ray disks starting at $7.99.

Bass Pro Shops will open on Thanksgiving at 8 a.m. and stay open until 6 p.m. They will reopen for Black Friday from 5 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Some of their deals include, fleece zip hoodies for the whole family for only $10, Chevrolet Rollplay 6V Black Chevy Silverado Ride-On Truck for Kids for $99.97, and Ariat boots on sale for $99.97.

Cabela's will open on Thanksgiving Day at 8 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. They will reopen on Black Friday from 5 a.m. until 10 a.m.

If you are one of the first 600 people in line on Friday, you have the chance to win over $6,000 in prizes. Some of their sales include the Herter's 20-60x60 potting Scope for $49.99, the new Heritage Rough Rider Nine-Shot Revolver for $129.99, and the new Barnett Terrain CXB Crossbow package on sale for $199.99.

Dick's Sporting Goods opens on Thanksgiving at 6 p.m. and will close at 2 p.m. They reopen for Black Friday at 5 a.m. and will stay open until 2 p.m.

You can go ahead and shop Black Friday prices on their website right now. Select footwear is on sale for $14.99-$299.99, select game cameras from $39.398-$349.99 and free shipping on all cardio equipment.

Goody's opens Thursday from 2 p.m. until 1 a.m. and Friday from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. Their sales will also be active online for both days from 12:01 a.m. Thursday until midnight Friday.

If you get in line early on Thursday, one customer at each store will win a 4-foot teddy bear or a Pelican 30-quart premium cooler. Plus, the first 75 customers will be given girt cards. Two lucky people will have a $250 or $50 gift card. The other 73 cards will be worth $10.

JCPenney opens their doors Thanksgiving Day from 2 p.m. until Friday night at 10 p.m.

They are also offering coupon giveaways to their first customers. The coupons will be worth either $500 off $500, $100 off $100 or more, or $10 off $10 or more. Their sales include up to 80% off of fine jewelry, up to 80% off of table liners, and 60% off of holiday decor.

Lowe's will open at 6 a.m. on Black Friday. 

Their Black Friday deals are already available on their website. Some of the deals include air compressors on sale for $99.00, artificial pre-lit Christmas trees 20% off, and cordless drills on sale for $99.00.

Macy's opens on Thursday from 5 p.m. - 2 a.m. Friday. They will then reopen from 6 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Some of their deals include 40% off of designer boots, 60% off of men's outerwear and 50% off of family pajamas.

Sears opens at 7 a.m. on Black Friday. They will be offering a 3-day doorbusters which starts online Thursday.

If you are needing home appliances, they have special deals for you including up to 50% off Kenmore washer and dryer and up to 50% off of Kenmore refrigerators. 

Target opens at 6 p.m. Thanksgiving night and will close at midnight. They reopen Friday from 6 a.m. until either 10, 11, or midnight depending on the store.

They are offering Google Home Minis for $29.00, Xbox One S 500GB console for $189.99 and Westinghouse 55" 4K Smart UHD TV for $249.99.

The Outlet Shops of Grand River has several fun events planned for Thanksgiving night and Black Friday. Doors officially open at 9 p.m. Thursday night but you need to get their early to get in line for prizes!

Starting at 8 p.m. Thanksgiving night, the first 500 shoppers in line under the atrium will receive a ticket to be redeemed for a Moonlight Swag Bag. The bags will be stuffed with goodies and include girt cards worth $10 - $500.

From midnight until 4 a.m. you can enter to win gift cards and prizes under the atrium You must have a valid ID, email address and phone number to enter. You must also be present to win.

There will also be a Secret Santa at the shops from 2 a.m. - 6 a.m. He will be visiting stores and paying up to $100 of select customers purchases.

Walmart starts their sales online at 12:01 a.m. Thursday and Black Friday sales begin in the store at 6 p.m.

This year, employees will give out color-coded maps to help shoppers find the things they are searching for.  

Some of their deals include Hover-1 Freedom Hoverboards for $148.00, Nintendo Switch consoles with a joy-con for $299.00 and select DVDs for $5.
