Bama still No. 1, Auburn No. 6 in latest College Football Playoff rankings

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The College Football Playoff rankings are set ahead of Saturday's Iron Bowl. Alabama remains No. 1 while Auburn remains at No. 6 in the latest poll.

No matter what happens, the winner of Saturday's game will advance to the SEC Championship as the SEC West representative and increases their chances of making the College Football Playoff in its fourth year of existence.

Miami leapfrogs Clemson for the No. 2 spot. Clemson and Oklahoma fill in the No. 3 and 4 spots respectively.

Auburn remains behind No. 5 Wisconsin as the top two teams currently on the outside looking in.

Saturday's Iron Bowl will kick at 2:30 p.m. from the Plains of Auburn.
