MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

This past Monday we had our annual 12's Day of Giving, a program Powered by WSFA 12 News, Wal Mart and the Dixie Electric Cooperative!

A special thanks go out to the volunteers who helped during the day and to our partners who helped all of this come together including the Montgomery Area Food Bank, Christmas Clearinghouse, and The US Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots

Once again the River Region did not disappoint as you helped us raise over $22,000 thousand dollars in donations, thousands of pounds of food and games, toys and bikes aplenty.

Your generosity was overwhelming and I would like to personally thank all of you on behalf of WSFA News 12 and our partners for having donated to our most worthy charities.

Of course, if by chance you did not get to stop by you can still make a donation, by going to the DONATE TODAY section on wsfa.com. There you can donate to the charity of your choice as we have direct links for you.

Your kindness will help make this a better holiday season for so many in need within our area. It is the season for giving and you were once again there to help us, help those who need it the most.

Thank you so very much for your kindness and generosity.
