MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - We are now just four days out from the 2017 Raycom Media Camellia Bowl and both teams have arrived at their team hotels.
Middle Tennessee got to town earlier Tuesday but hit Alabama State's campus for practice and didn't check into their team hotel at Embassy Suites until afterwards.
Arkansas State arrived at the Renaissance Hotel where the team will be staying over the course of the week. Both teams will spend a small amount of their time in their hotels as they're scheduled for several events around the city of Montgomery throughout the week.
The Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee seem to be feeling a little more at home, as a Middle Tennessee player told a WSFA 12 News reporter that he's pumped to play so close to family, friends and classmates. Middle Tennessee is located in Mufreesboro, Tennessee, which is only about four hours away from Montgomery.
Arkansas State travels in as the Sun Belt Conference representative. Traditionally the game has been Sun Belt vs. Mid-American Conference, but this year the Sun Belt will play Conference-USA.
The Coaches' Press Conference is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Union Station Visitor Center.
