Man arrested after shots fired in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A man has been arrested and charged after firing shots into a "occupied dwelling" Tuesday.

According to police, Christopher Goldsmith, 25, has been charged with shooting/discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling/vehicle. Montgomery police say Goldsmith fired into an "occupied dwelling" located in the 1700 block of McGehee Place Drive.

Police said no one was injured.

The shooting stemmed from an "ongoing dispute" between people that knew each other and investigation identified Goldsmith as the suspect.
