PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) -

A suspect in the murders of three men at a Prattville barbershop in July 2017 has been charged with rape.

Keon Cain, 20, is charged with second degree rape, according to court documents. The Autauga County indictment reads that Cain engaged in sexual intercourse with a female between 12 and 16 years old.

Cain was 19 at the time of the barbershop murders. On July 3, 2017, three men at the Hook-Up Barber and Style Shop in Prattville were killed during what investigators believe was an attempted robbery. A fourth man sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Cain, along with 35-year-old Marty Morgan, was indicted on capital murder of two or more people, as well as capital murder robbery and second degree burglary.

Both men are still behind bars. Cain will be arraigned on the rape and capital murder cases later in April.
