We are still dealing with a pesky low pressure system that is *slowly* moving towards the east and north; as of this afternoon, it is sitting over central Tennessee and north Georgia. While the widespread shower activity isn't impacting our area, we are still dealing with clouds on the back edge of this system.
Along with being mostly cloudy today, we also could see an isolated chance for a light, passing shower throughout the day. Temperatures really get limited due to the lack of sunshine... highs get stuck in the upper 60s and low 70s.
Tomorrow shows sign of improvement - we will go from mostly cloudy to mainly sunny by Wednesday! Highs will be a bit warmer with everyone making their way into the 70s.
Thursday could be another tricky setup where the ingredients for severe weather largely aren't there, but there could be just enough of a window of opportunity into the afternoon to need to watch for a few strong to marginally severe storms.
Regardless, widespread showers and storms are likely into Thursday ahead of a week that features warming temperatures and lots of sunshine!
