Troy bank robbery suspect sought

TROY, AL (WSFA) -

The Troy Police Department is investigating a bank robbery at the Regions Bank on George Wallace Drive.

Investigators say the suspect walked into the bank at around 2 p.m. and gave the teller a note demanding money.

The suspect is described as being 5’11”, 200 pounds and was wearing baggy blue jeans, a baggy red or burgundy shirt and black tennis shoes.

Investigators said the suspect appears to be bald or have a very low haircut and a mustache. He took an undisclosed amount of cash and walked out of the bank with the cash in hand.

The suspect was last seen running across Corman Avenue.
