A classic late Spring weather pattern dominates our weather over the next week...
Sunny, warm weather will be the rule through the week. High temperatures each day will soar into the mid and upper 80s, with nighttime temperatures dropping into the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Each day will be dry and warm, each night will be clear and cool.
To our west, a major severe weather episode will likely occur across Kansas and Oklahoma on Wednesday. There could be an outbreak of large hail, tornadoes and damaging wind in the Plains.
The dynamics associated with that system will likely go north of us, but there should be enough forcing and moisture for at least some scattered rain and thunderstorms by Saturday and Sunday. Severe weather seems like a long shot at this point, but we'll keep a constant watch on new data between now and then - just to be sure!
