MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Skies will remain clear tonight and winds will remain out of the southeast. The warm air flow will keep temperatures mild through the overnight hours. Lows will likely only drop into the upper 50s to low 60s for many.
High pressure remains in control of our weather for the next couple days. Thursday and Friday will feature plenty of sunshine and plenty of heat. Afternoon highs both days will reach the mid 80s at least. There will be a few areas across south Alabama flirting with the 90 degree mark.
High pressure and upper level ridging break down this weekend allowing our next storm system to enter from the west. We'll likely deal with scattered showers Saturday and Sunday. We should also expect a few thunderstorms but severe weather looks unlikely.
