Teen charged in April Montgomery shooting

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A teenager has been charged in an April shooting, according to the Montgomery Police Department.

Keyunta Howard Jr., 18, was arrested by the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force Wednesday and charged with discharging a weapon into an occupied building.

According to police, Howard fired "multiple rounds" into a home in the 2600 block of Westwood Drive on April 4. Police say the incident stemmed from an ongoing dispute between Howard and family members of the homeowner.

No one was injured in the shooting.
