OPELIKA, AL (WSFA) - Two Montgomery teens are facing felony charges after a robbery in Opelika Wednesday night.

According to Capt. Booby Kilgore with Opelika Police, Dyaus E. N. Harris, 17, and Sean K. Estes, 16, both of Montgomery, are charged with robbery first degree.

Kilgore says the charges are related to a robbery that took place around 10 p.m. in the 2100 block of Waverly Parkway. The victim told police he exited his vehicle and was approached by two suspects, armed with firearms. The suspects demanded his personal property including his car keys before fleeing the scene in the victim's car.

A short time later, Kilgore says an Alabama State Trooper spotted the victim's car. A pursuit followed and ended near mile marker 22 on Interstate 85.

Both Harris and Estes were taken into custody and charged as adults. Their bond is unknown at this time.
