Hit and miss rain will continue across the state over the next several days...and nights. The coverage of rain will stay elevated - but, as we've said and written several times about this rain setup - it will not rain on everyone each day. And, it will not rain all day.
Where it DOES rain, though, it could pour - and there could be thunder, lightning and torrential rain involved.
The coverage of rain will slowly decrease from around 60% Thursday to 40% over the weekend. So, there will still be scattered showers and storms over the weekend - just fewer of them.
Temperatures will stay warmer than usual over most of the next seven days - afternoon highs will continue to reach the 85-90 degree range through at least the middle of next week.
