TROY, AL (WSFA) - Troy police say a man who fled a traffic stop in Bullock County has been arrested in connection with the robbery of pizza delivery driver.
Reggie Lee Rumph, 44, of Troy was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for robbery first degree.
Rumph was stopped for a traffic violation in Bullock County, and authorities say he fled into the woods. Several agencies set up a perimeter and used tracking dogs to find him in an abandoned trailer. He was transported to Troy to be processed.
Police say on April 30 a driver was delivering pizza to a residence on West Hodges Street when a man tried to take money from him. The two struggled over the money and pizza, and the suspect mentioned a gun, police say.
The suspect took the pizza, and the driver left the scene without being harmed.
Rumph had two misdemeanor warrants in Troy for driving with a revoked license and no insurance. He also has warrants in Barbour County, Eufaula and Clayton.
