MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A Montgomery Sanitation Department employee has been arrested after he allegedly shot at someone during his lunch break.

According to Captain Regina Duckett with the Montgomery Police Department, Brandon Oliver, a city sanitation worker, was taken into custody and charged with reckless endangerment Wednesday. Duckett says officers responded to the 4300 block of Mobile Highway Wednesday at 11:20 a.m., in response to a call of shots fired. A victim told police that Oliver, while on his lunch break, stood in the parking lot of a business and discharged a firearm in the victim's direction.

There were no injuries or property damages, but an investigation revealed the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute between Oliver and the victim.

Oliver was taken to the city jail after his arrest. He is no longer employed with the city.
