WSFA 12's Sally Pitts shares video of mom taped to wall for good cause

CHILTON COUNTY, AL (WSFA) - Our very own Sally Pitts shared an adorable video of her mom on Facebook Friday. The video shows Pitts' mom, a principal at Clanton Intermediate in Chilton County Schools, taped to the wall for a good cause.

In a competition to see who could collect the most pennies for the school's fundraiser the Penny Drop, the fourth-grade class reigned victorious. As a result the fourth-grade class, along with their teachers, got to tape Sally's mom to the wall.

The Penny Drop is a way for schools to raise money for either something school related or an outside charity. The fundraiser is usually held over a period of time.
