Amanda: Tracking more scattered showers

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Have you seen rain yet? Hopefully so, but if not we still have an amble amount of moisture in our atmosphere; this is helping scattered areas of heavy to pop up randomly across central and south Alabama.

While overall coverage may not be quite as widespread as yesterday, the vast majority of our region will see some kind of activity before the day is over.

This active pattern continues for the remainder of the workweek and will spill over into our Memorial Day weekend. With the unofficial start of the Summer season right around the corner, it's only fitting that our forecast feels like it

It's important to note that although each afternoon features a 60-70% coverage of rain, that does not mean it will rain everywhere, or even all day. Simply put, the number of people who see rain will likely be higher then the number of spots that do not. Yes - that means some cities and towns will not see any wet weather some days... that's the nature of pop-up showers and storms in Alabama.
