MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A Saturday night shooting left one man dead and one juvenile injured in Montgomery.
According to Sgt. Jarrett Williams with the Montgomery Police Department, officers responded to the 500 block of the East South Blvd. at around 8:45 p.m. in reference to two people shot. At the scene, they found the juvenile suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The second victim, 31-year-old Michael Garland, suffered a life threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
