MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - You know, days like this are pretty rare in this part of the world in June. Dew points are a solid 20 degrees lower than this point yesterday, meaning we took a solid slice out of our heat index. Comfortable humidity will counter increasingly warm temperatures through the rest of the week, but there won't be much rainfall around. In fact, Tuesday may be the only real shot at a few downpours across south Alabama...
TONIGHT: Lows fall into the lower 60s by tomorrow morning. That's about as good as it gets for early June, so enjoy it.
ELECTION DAY: We'll have more clouds around tomorrow as a chunk of energy darts to our south. In terms of rain chances, if you're in central Alabama, you probably won't see a drop of rain. Isolated showers and storms will affect far south Alabama, but that's about it. For the vast majority of you, the weather will not play a role in whether you can safely get to the polls.
Highs gradually climb into the 90s by midweek, but humidity values are still under control. More typical June weather returns by the weekend.
