MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A man is facing multiple charges for a robbery that happened Friday in Montgomery.
According to Sgt. Hicks, Christopher Powell, 21, is charged with one count of robbery first degree and one count of shooting or discharging a weapon into occupied building or vehicle.
The charges are related to a robbery that took place in the 3100 block of Gentilly Court. Hicks says the victim told police after the robbery, as he was running away, the suspect fired his weapon at him.
The victim was not injured.
An investigation by MPD identified Powell as a suspect. Hicks was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force on Thursday.
Powell was transported to the Montgomery County Detention Center under a $90,000 bond.
