TROY, AL (WSFA) - Watch out LeBron James and move over Steph Curry. There are new kings and queens of the hardwood.
The Troy Women's Basketball team hosted its annual Little Dribblers Camp over the past week designed to bring out the fun in basketball.
"The priority with this age group is just to have fun and to learn basketball and to love just playing the game and having fun," said Troy assistant coach Neil Harrow.
Dozens of kids from the area took part in the camp learning everything from dribbling to rattling the rim with a slam dunk.
"I like being with the 'Alliburgers' and I like shooting layups," said Anslee Brown.
"I've learned rebounding, layups, dribbling and better at shooting," said Keelie Moseley.
While the week has been fun for the campers, it's safe to say the Trojans have had the most fun.
"You have to bring a lot of energy, because they have a lot of energy," said forward Amber Rivers. "I basically like being around kids. Just seeing their smiles and when they're happy to see me come in here, it really brings me a lot of joy."
No scholarships were handed out just yet to the campers, but we will make sure to check back in a couple of years.
