MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

A missing Montgomery 18-year-old's vehicle was found in Greenville and foul play is suspected, according to Police Chief Justin Lovvorn.

Lovvorn said Maura McCoy's vehicle was found in the parking lot of a closed business near Walmart.

A family member filed a missing person's report for McCoy Saturday, according to the Montgomery Police Department.

The family member said McCoy was last seen Wednesday.

Lovvorn also confirmed his office is assisting the Butler County Sheriff's Office with a homicide investigation after a body was found. Authorities haven't said if that investigation is connected to the missing person's case.

Both agencies have said more information will be released Tuesday.
