ENTERPRISE, AL (WSFA) - A verbal altercation turned physical and resulted in one person being shot, and another arrested in Enterprise, according to Enterprise police.
The department arrested Enterprise resident Miguel Rodriguez Sulivan, 41, and charged him with first-degree assault. Enterprise Police Lt. Billy Haglund said Sulivan shot another man in the leg Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at Endale Estates Trailer Park in the 25000 block of Hwy 134. It's unclear what the argument was about, but witnesses said that after the physical altercation, Sulivan got a gun and shot at the victim multiple times. Hagland said the victim was only struck once, and was taken to the hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
Sulivan was taken to the Coffee County Jail.
