MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Thursday was a hot and dry day, and not much is changing overnight. Radar will stay mostly dry and temperatures will stay warm in the mid 70s.
Heat takes center stage again Friday, with highs in the mid 90s and heat index values in the triple digits. If you're heading to the parade in downtown Montgomery, bring water and find shade! Similarly to today, a few showers and storms are possible tomorrow afternoon. Most of us will stay dry and hot, but the few of you who receive rain will feel a break from the sweltering temperatures.
Rain chances increase and temperatures decrease as we head into the weekend. Next week will will be wetter and cooler than this week.
