DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) - The Northview Cougars are hoping to put last year's disappointing season behind them.
The Cougars finished 3-7 under first-year head coach Josh Parrish but did see some improvement towards the end of the season.
The Cougars won two of their final four games to end the season and even defeated two of their biggest rivals, Enterprise and Dothan.
Now heading into his second season, Parrish believes the players have fully bought in to his system and are ready to win.
"When you first get somewhere, it takes some time to implement what you're trying to implement and get kids, parents, staff, and everybody to by in to what you're trying to accomplish," said Parrish. "I think over the off-season we've kind of established all that and we are excited about this next year."
The Cougars will kickoff the 2018 season at home against Southside Selma on Aug. 24.
