MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The effects of Gordon are slowly but surely waning across the region this morning. Leftover light showers will continue to fall as remnant rain bands linger, mainly east of Interstate 65.
There's not much there, and models break what's left of this band up by late morning. We'll transition into a more typical afternoon with a mix of clouds and sunshine with scattered showers & storms developing.
With that partial sunshine, temperatures will be back closer to the 90-degree mark. Low 90s are expected tomorrow and into the weekend with only isolated showers and storms expected.
Lots of action in the Atlantic, but nothing close enough to pose any risk to the U.S. over the next few days.
