MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Gordon is gone, and our weather will fully transition back to "typical" late Summer weather for the next few days.
Today's highs climb into the lower 90s with heat index values around 100 degrees at times. We can't rule out a few random afternoon t-storms, but coverage will be significantly less than the last few days with Gordon around.
Saturday features more of the same; lower 90s and a few storms. Rain chances pick up slightly Sunday and really start picking up into early next week with a frontal boundary stalling out across the area.
