TUSCALOOSA You can tell Alabama is winning football games again: People on campus are talking about one of the fans' favorite cheers.

Thousands of fans like to do the "Rammer Jammer" cheer when the Crimson Tide wins a football game. The chant includes a couple of mild curse words. But the campus newspaper has renewed the debate about whether the cheer is appropriate. And the Student Government Association last week passed a resolution in support of the cheer.Cheerleading coordinator Debbie Greenwell says she hasn't heard anything about banning the cheer, as has been done twice in the past. But she acknowledges that not everyone has been enamored with the yell, including the late Mary Harmon Bryant, the wife of legendary coach Paul "Bear" Bryant.
