South University's Montgomery Campus offers degree programs that are designed to meet the needs and objectives of its students.

The primary goal of the campus curricula is to provide educational opportunities for the intellectual, social, and professional development of a diverse student population.

Bachelor's degree programs require a minimum of twelve quarters to complete. Associate's degree programs require a minimum of eight quarters for completion. Academic programs, course offerings, and scheduling are subject to change at the discretion of the institution.

    The Accounting associate’s degree program is designed to provide students with the appropriate background, knowledge, and skills they need to enter the field of accounting. They pursue such topics as analyzing transactions, completing the accounting cycle, accounting systems, internal control and journals, accounting for assets and liabilities, and accounting in different business structures.

Business Administration

  • Associate of Science
    The Associate of Science in Business Administration degree program offers students exposure to the responsibilities and requirements of managing a business. Students gain an understanding of management concepts that will maximize opportunities for promotion in a management career.
  • Bachelor of Business Administration
    South University’s Bachelor of Business Administration program is designed to prepare graduates to enter a variety of management positions in business, education, healthcare, government, or manufacturing.

Criminal Justice

Healthcare Management

Legal Studies

    The Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies program provides an excellent foundation for graduates who seek employment as paralegals/legal assistants. Students learn how the law applies to real-life problems.

Medical Assisting

    The Medical Assisting program at South University is the first step toward a career of delivering healthcare treatment as a core member of the medical team. The program is devoted to providing the complete education and experience necessary to work efficiently and effectively in the medical environment.

Paralegal Studies

    The Associate of Science in Paralegal Studies degree program provides educational preparation for individuals to serve as paralegals and legal assistants. In keeping with the demands of professionalism, the paralegal program consists of specialized coursework and a supervised externship.

Physical Therapist Assisting

    The professional preparation phase of the Physical Therapist Assisting program is conducted in the evenings and consists of four academic quarters of lecture and laboratory courses. An additional two quarters are spent in full-time clinical experiences.

Professional Counseling

    The South University Master of Arts degree program in Professional Counseling is a 72-quarter-hour curriculum intended to meet the local and regional need for qualified professional counselors.
