Auburn running back Kenny Irons has been named the Southeastern Conference's Player of the Week for his performance in the Tigers' 34-to-17 win over Arkansas. Irons, a junior from Dacula, Georgia, had a career high 182 yards rushing on 33 carries against the Razorbacks. He gained 126 yards on 23 attempts in the second half alone. Irons posted the highest single-game rushing total in the S-E-C this season. He now has three 100-yard rushing performances in his last three games. Number 16 Auburn, (5-1, 3-0 SEC) carries a five game winning streak into Saturday night's game at seventh-ranked L-S-U (4-1, 3-1).
