Alabama Naming Equipment Area for Stallings' Son

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. --  The University of Alabama will have a program Thursday to name its football equipment area as the John Mark Stallings Equipment Room. John Mark Stallings is the son of former Alabama coach Gene Stallings, and he's big Crimson Tide fan.

Alabama athletic director Mal Moore says a friend of the Stallings family made a donation to the Crimson Tradition Fund and requested that the equipment room be named in honor of John Mark Stallings.

Moore says the Stallings family will be in Tuscaloosa for the ceremony at 2 p.m. Thursday.
