Pasta Paesano With Shrimp

2 Tbs. chopped fresh Basil
4 Tbs. Butter
1 Cup heavy Whipping Cream
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
8 jumpo Shrimp
3/4 cup grated Pecorino Romano Cheese
1/4 cup fresh Mushrooms
1 Pound Fettuccini Pasta
1 tsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Pinch of Salt
1/4 cup sweet red Pepper & Onion

In a small frying pan on medium high heat add butter and cream. Melt it down, but don't boil. Add black pepper and salt. Bring to a simmer. Stir it frequently. Add pasta to boiling water with 1 tsp. of salt. Drain the pasta. Saute onions and sweet red peppers in olive oil on medium high heat (approximately 1 1/2 minutes). Then add salt and pepper to taste.  Add shrimp, 1 tbs. of butter and mushrooms then toss in the vegetables. Add the pasta and then sauce and then the shrimp. Add 3/4 cup of grated cheese and fresh basil. Toss and SERVE!
