There is an encouraging development about a house fire that Montgomery firefighters rolled out on at 4:42 Wednesday morning. Fire officials told WSFA the house on Sunnybrook drive is not a total loss; in fact, it is repairable.
The fire did heavy damage to the attic and the bottom floor has water damage. There is no smoke damage to report, but a room on the right side of the house is damaged pretty badly. Neighbors who came out to see what was going on told WSFA contractors had just remodeled the home and someone had just bought it. No one was inside. Firefighters got there in five minutes and had the fire out in ten.
