The accident occurred on the Marvyn Parkway about 10 a-m.

Harris said Johnson, employed by Sunflower Waste Management, had just unloaded at a waste substation. He said it appeared that the rear door of the trash truck was up when it struck the overpass. The accident is under investigation by Opelika police.
