Columbine Anniversary Brings New School Threat

Phone lines were busy at police stations on Thursday as many students and parents heard rumors of bomb threats and mass murders.

Thursday marked the seventh anniversary of the Columbine shooting.

Hearing the rumors made some Fairhope parents think twice about sending their kids to school.  Fairhope resident Stacy Forbess said, "It really freaks me out especially that he's so young.  From what i understand he's only a ninth grader."

Fairhope High School had extra security on hand after hearing of a student's alleged threat to get back at football players for teasing him.
