Wetumpka Man Arrested for Allegedly Soliciting a Child

A Wetumpka man is in jail for allegedly trying to set up a sexual encounter with someone who he thought was a young Prattville boy.

Prattville police say 29-year-old James David Hungerford chatted with an undercover police officer online who was pretending to be the 4 year old boy. Police say Hungerford then went to a Prattville park Monday to try and meet the boy, and that's when he was arrested.

Hungerford faces charges of soliciting a child by computer.
