HUNTSVILLE, Ala. The Army says a Washington man working for an Alabama-based military command was killed in Iraq on Wednesday by a homemade bomb.42-year-old Jerry Palinsky of Dupont, Washington, died when the vehicle in which he was riding was struck by an improvised explosive. Palinsky was employed as a security specialist by Cochise Consultancy of Tampa, Florida.Two people were wounded by the explosion.The military has not released the name of a second contract worker killed in another attack on Tuesday, May second.The Huntsville-based Coalition Munitions Clearance Program is responsible for handling and destroying captured ammunition in Iraq.
