More Alabama men and women received their orders to get ready to move out.
Another 150 Alabama National Guard members may be about to ship out but we don't know where or how many will go.
Earlier this week, twenty members of the Air National Guard left Montgomery. At this point the Guard is being pretty tight-lipped but we do know there are three more units that have been activated. They include two squadrons that are responsible for maintaining and operating communications equipment for the Air Force.
Leaving soon will be 43 members of the 232nd Combat Communications Squadron here in Montgomery and 24 members of the 280th Combat Communications Unit in Dothan. Both of these units will be responsible for the care and maintenance of equipment like telephones, fax machines, and satellite equipment.
On the other hand 83 members of the 117th Intelligence Squadron in Birmingham will be the ones gathering and analyzing intelligence information for the Air Force.
The number of people scheduled for deployment soon came from the Department of Defense. However the Alabama National Guard says those numbers could change.
