COPY-West Palm slaying suspect arrested in Pensacola

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. A West Palm Beach slaying suspect is being held in a Pensacola-area jail.

Police say Brandon Williams is suspected of using an A-K-47 to shoot two people last month. One person later died.

Williams was in the hospital after surviving a drive-by shooting but left before police could question him.

He was stopped in Pensacola Sunday and police found that he was wanted on charges of first-degree murder and attempted murder.

Williams is being held at the Escambia County jail without bail.

West Palm Beach police have arrested him in the past on charges of selling cocaine and grand theft.
