Phenix City Truck Driver Apprehended for Alleged Tennessee Road Rage Incident

Darrin Rivers, a truck driver out of Phenix City, Alabama, has been taken into custody by Lawrence County deputies because he is alleged to have been involved in a road rage incident in Murray County, Tennessee.

Rivers allegedly shot at another truck driver in Tennessee, shooting into the other 18-wheeler with the bullet actually hitting the dashboard of the other truck.

Deputies and state troopers surrounded Rivers' personal vehicle after he was spotted at a truck stop on Highway 20 in Courtland, Alabama.  Rivers is charged with attempted murder.  He will be held in the Lawrence County Jail until an extradition hearing.
