Authorities in the Wireless Region say a man wanted for sexually assaulting a Dothan woman Tuesday afternoon may also be responsible for robbing a U-S Post Office in Newton on the same day.
Dothan Police Chief John Powell said victims in both crimes provided officers with similar descriptions about the perpetrator. He said the suspect walked into a business in west Dothan and attacked a female employee. That happened at about 2:30 p-m. Powell said about two hours later, the post office was robbed.
The U-S Postal Service is offering a 50-thousand dollar reward for information leading to the man's arrest. The Alabama Bureau of Investigation is assisting.
