Fight For Hyundai Heats Up This Week

Alabama may not be as close as some originally thought to landing the new Hyundai plant. Company officials say they plan to tour 2 potential sites in Ohio this week. Montgomery and Opelika are both potential sites for the new plant, which could bring as many as 2,000 jobs to the area.

Alabama is competing with Mississippi, Georgia, Kentucky, and Ohio for the plant. A decision on a location is expected within the next 6 months.
