Geneva Artist to Represent Alabama at the White House

The work of a Geneva County artist will represent Alabama at the state egg display at the White House.

The late Lynda Kinman of Hartford designed the egg that was selected by the American Egg Board to be part of teh annual Egg Roll on the grounds of the White House.

That tradition began with President Rutherford B. Hayes in 1878.

This is the second time that one of Mrs. Kinman's egg designs has been chosen for display in Washington.

The display runs through April 24th.
