Local Virginia Tech Alum Reflects on Massacre

A Virginia Tech Alum who now calls Alabama home is reflecting on the massacre at Virginia Tech.   Dr. Michael Stewart received his doctorate in Zoology and Environmental Sciences at Virginia Tech in 1989.  He now teaches at Troy University.  Dr. Stewart says he was hit hard by the news.  At first he was in disbelief, eventually acceptance. Dr. Stewart belives law enforcement and school officials did everything they could, "I think the University administration and police force are responding as well as humanly possible."  Dr. Stewart says he is proud to be a hokie and knows the school will heal in due in time.
