Hyundai Chairmen Appeals Embezzlement Conviction

Hyundai Motor Company Chairman Chung Mong Koo appealed an embezzlement conviction and prison sentence Tuesday.

Chung reaffirmed his promise to donate almost $800 million dollars worth of personal assets to society.

In February he was sentenced to 3 years in jail for embezzling the equivalent of more than $100 million dollars in company funds.
