Surles Tries to Get Bond Reduced

The girlfriend of the man accused of killing a Montgomery police officer was back in court Wednesday.

Tiffany Surles was trying to get her 250-thousand dollar bond reduced. She tried to do the same thing last week, but her former attorney misfiled the paperwork.

Police claim she helped Mario Woodward leave Montgomery after he shot Officer Keith Houts.

Surles attorney says the judge should reduce her sentence. No word yet on whether the judge listened to her attorney.
