Arrest Made In Macon County Murder

Sheriff David Warren tells WSFA 12 News that his office and the Alabama Bureau of Investigation made an arrest in an eight month old murder case.

The Sheriff tells WSFA 12 News, they arrested a man named Hampton Lawrence late Thursday afternoon, and charged him with the murder of Delphine Jackson. Jackson's body was found in the woods last November.

Lawrence is in the Macon County Jail on $50-thousand dollar bond. Stay with WSFA 12 News for more information on this breaking news.
